Meet the Artist!
They say to do something you love and you will never work another day in your life, this is so true!
John and Jill Tisbury are qualified training professionals and both are passionate about their glass art and workshops. They run a glass arts business in Rushden called Firedglass.
Jill runs the workshops and is the artist while professional photographer and videographer John takes care of admin, bookings and produces fabulous video content for our dedicated Firedglass YouTube channel.
We both love art and sharing our passion with others. We decided to combine our love of glass and our formal training backgrounds by offering fused glass workshops. Not only do we teach, we also sell items that we make too.
Our studio in the garden is a treasure trove of ideas, inspiration and glass! Once people arrive, they never want to leave. Especially with the tasty baked goodies and freshly brewed coffee to keep them going while they make!
Every morning is like Christmas morning when we open the kiln to see the fabulous creations that have been fired. No wonder weve won lots of awards for our artwork and our workshops.
