Wood carver, creating pieces mostly based in Pagan Mythology. Based at Stanwick Lakes, where I am the resident wood artist.

Meet the Artist!
I am WoodWight, a spirit of trees and the wood they give. Most of my pieces are inspired by my deeply-held Pagan beliefs and include Wood-Spirits, Green Men, Dragons, Pagan deities, Witches and Wizards, etc; along with items inspired by nature.
I also make sacred items such as wands, staffs, altar-pieces and similar...
I am based at Stanwick Lakes, where I have been a volunteer member of the team for over 13 years, involved in Conservation and Heritage projects, and where I teach stick and staff making workshops as part of the Heritage Crafts programme.
I am the resident wood artist at Stanwick Lakes, responsible for creating many of the carvings to be found around the site.
I am usually on site each Wednesday. Please contact me to check if I am there and whether I am carving or working on other projects.
