About this Collection
Lampworking is an ancient technique originating from the Venetian hot glass shops, particularly Murano. As a result this is sometimes known as Murano glass. The glass is melted using a hot torch then manipulated using various techniques from blowing, pulling and sculpting with hand tools to shape the molten glass.
