Painting Portraits in Oils with Cordell Garfield

Join Cordell on his Introduction to Portrait Painting One Day Workshop in Oils at Vitreus Art on 23rd May 2026. This workshop is the perfect introduction to portrait painting. A portrait painting in oils will be produced, with attention to tone and colour to create a realistic image. The workshop is a very small class size (max 6) offering a very personalised and individual approach to creating your own portrait. Working from a reference photograph and a step by step process, Cordell will guide you through painting a portrait, and you will take away a completed portrait at the end of the workshop. The workshop is ideal for both beginners and painters with some experience.
