Welcome to Vitreus Art!
Vitreus Art is run by Jenny Timms and Mike Caddy who have more than 30 years glass art experience between them.
The studio at Bell Plantation is home to dozens of art and craft courses, the working studio for Vitreus Art's own work and a gallery showcasing the art of 30 talented local artists and craftspeople.
Jenny and Mike started off in stained glass after seeing some modern examples on holiday in Cornwall.
With many hundreds of commissions and thousands of students on workshops, Jenny and Mike still discover something new to enjoy about glass art each day.
Jenny spent time at art college before family life intervened while Mike studied theatre lighting design design before going in to business with technology developers.
More latterly the pair have worked on establishing their business through exhibiting at the best craft fairs in the country and by teaching their art at other people's venues.

For the last 13 years Vitreus Art has had a permanent home near Towcester, with several additional tutors joining to provide a huge range of drawing, painting, print-making, jewellery, paper-crafting and ceramic painting courses to add to dozens of glass fusing and stained glass workshops run by Jenny and Mike themselves
Visitors are invited to call at the studio any time during open hours from Tuesday to Sunday.
