Meet the Artist!
I've always loved painting. My mum was an art teacher and encouraged my love of art from an early age. I went to Leek School of Art to do a Foundation Year but didn't continue my art education so I am self taught. I married, had two boys and now five grandchildren. I worked as a secretary and then church administrator. I am now retired and finding the time to give to my all consuming passion to paint. I like to begin by drawing my design and then simplifying this into a semi abstract style. I paint flowers, still life, landscapes, animals and birds.
