Ben Fitton
Painter and Printmaker

Meet the Artist!
After earning a Degree in Fine Art, my journey toward establishing an artistic practice has been gradual, but always important. Even during quieter periods away from the studio, I have remained creatively engaged—using sketchbooks as a space for reflection, problem-solving, and helping to process the world around me.
My recent work explores themes of landscape and the nature, blending acrylic and mixed media with a spirit of experimentation. I love discovering new techniques and approaches, always seeking to balance textures and variations in mark making to form interesting compositions.
I fell in love with the the print studio the first time I entered one. I currently create small editions of relief prints using traditional lino and water-based inks. It's a chance to embrace the tactile, meditative quality of the printmaking process.
My work has been presented in multiple group exhibitions and I'm always pleased when pieces find new homes, travelling right across the UK.
