June Hawkins - Botanical Artist
My work is primarily botanical, reflecting my interest in flowers and nature. I'm inspired by the subjects all around me, including the plants, trees and fruit in our very old garden. I try to paint from growing plants and flowers whenever possible.
My preferred medium is watercolour; I try to use this medium to give delicacy, light and colour to the subjects. I'm always striving to bring my paintings to life!
