Sarah Warren

Sarah lives with her son and daughter in Nassington. She is hearing impaired and recently diagnosed with ADHD. Painting has always been a joy and also her refuge through difficult times. Sarah studied Art through school and completed a Foundation Diploma at Kent institute of Art & Design in 1996. Whilst raising her children she was a self employed artist and held open houses as well as having a solo exhibition at her local church. Her passion is for creating abstract mixed media paintings of all sizes, using a variety of materials. She starts by creating a textured surface on the canvas and applies layers of bold colour, allowing each piece of artwork to evolve over time. Circles feature in many of her pieces representing different meanings such as wholeness, strength and protection.
