Meet the Artist!
Pantano works across painting and sculpture. His visual work is grounded in minimalism and conceptualism, using colour and richly worked textures to explore silence, stillness, and the spatial qualities of contemplation. His work evokes environments of pause and inward attention, drawing on the visual and spatial traditions of sacred spaces, where silence, devotion, and transcendence shape human experience. Pantano’s background as a poet informs a practice attuned to rhythm, restraint, and metaphor, in which image and language function as interconnected forms of meditation. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Kunsthalle Kohta, Finland, and the etkbooks gallery, Switzerland.
