Meet the Artist!
I am Susan Cross, I have been exhibiting at Hartwell Church along with three other artists for some years. Each item of my work is unique. It may start from a simple idea that evolves, often as I am working on it, to completion or from a definite idea that I have planned.
I like to use different textures and textiles from soft fabric to fragile glass. My items usually have a purpose but sometimes I have to admit they are just decorative. I enjoy weaving a variety of items from a simple scarf to a jacket or even a sumptuous tweed rug.
