Meet the Artist!
I aim to integrate storytelling, memories and observation of the world around me with a healthy dose of imagination. Each painting develops by working out how best to tell its story through the application of acrylic paint, home-made collage papers created with a gel plate, and other media.
I’m particularly passionate about patterns: noticing patterns in my everyday life, and especially on my travels, keeps me grounded and then they creep into my paintings!
A former senior lecturer and National Teacher Fellow at De Montfort University, she now runs bespoke workshops in gel plate printing and collage from her studio.
