Meet the Artist!
I studied at Rochester College of Art where I achieved an NDD in Graphic Design which led to a career in designing children and adult books.
On retirement I returned to painting and attended adult education courses at Sywell, led by Sarah Pendred, which I continue to enjoy today.
Consequently my work reflects the local area as many of my paintings are of beauty spots in Northamptonshire, depicted in a slightly abstract graphic style, emphasizing color and shape in nature. Gouache (opaque watercolor) is the medium I most enjoy using and I have achieved several 'Best in Show' awards through exhibiting with Network Arts.
