The Girl with Green Eyes looked so striking in the crimson beret that I could not resist painting her. She was in an art gallery standing right in front of Girl in a Red Beret by Picasso.
Poet Laureate is a painting of my poetical pal Rob. There is an annual Poet Laureate competition for people in our local area and Rob won it recently. He kindly agreed to sit for the students in the art class that I run at Stamford Arts Centre.
