I have always been potty about boats, harbours and rock pools. It must be down to my Jersey ancestry.
The Suffolk coast is a favourite haunt, and it may seem odd but I prefer a pebbly beach to a sandy one.
I have always loved beach combing, examining pebbles, hagstones and driftwood.
