About the Event
Cordell Garfield has his shoe industry paintings work on show as part of this exhibition. The exhibition at Northampton Museum & Art Gallery looks at how the shoe industry has affected the lives of the people of Northamptonshire, not only through employment, but providing hospitals, carnivals, days out and Christmas parties. It explores the history of the biggest employers in Northamptonshire through personal stories and artefacts.
