Lisa Equi

My art journey started with evening classes quite a few years ago. There I learned how to paint, starting with onions, apples and oranges. Fast forward to a move to Northamptonshire in 2021 where I joined an art class and am now painting seascapes, tonal still life pictures, and even city scenes with people. I love to use watercolour and acrylic media to create my paintings as well as experimenting with mixed media, and recently I braved the oil painting world.

If I were to describe my style I would say it’s colourful, energetic, impressionistic and can sometimes be a bit messy – which I enjoy!

I ‘ve recently joined NROS and am proud to be able to share my work with other artists in the community – it definitely felt right to get involved and join up, to continue the next stage of my art journey.
