Zoe Laughton

Zoë Laughton is a contemporary artist who creates joyful floral acrylic and mixed-media pieces from her Northamptonshire-based Casaly Studio. Her work celebrates colour, texture, and playfulness — bringing a sense of optimism and warmth into any space.

With a background in Art A Level and a History degree focused on the history of interiors and design, Zoë has always been fascinated by the relationship between art, space, and mood. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, she has returned to her first love: painting. Her creative journey reflects her belief that art has the power to uplift, energise, and transform everyday surroundings.

Zoë’s inspiration flows from her love of colourful interiors, vintage patterns, and all things joyful, quirky, and homely. These values — joyful, quirky, and colourful — lie at the heart of her practice and guide every brushstroke. Through her art, Zoë hopes to share her optimism and remind others of the beauty and positivity that can be found in simple, everyday moments.
