Donna Drouin
A plein air practice underpins abstracted landscape and bird imagery in printmaking and painting.

Meet the Artist!
These gestures and repetitions are carried into the studio, where she pushes and pulls mark and work through printmaking, collage, and painting. Her process mirrors the land she observes: layered, worked, eroded, and re-formed over time.
Guided by environmental awareness, Donna explores ways of making that are both sustainable and tactile. for her, the act of making is inseparable from the finished work-carving, scratching, and inking becoming a form of cultivation, an embodied dialogue with place.
Her current work centres on abstracted topographies and bird forms, mapping a personal connection to land, memory, and movement, where observation and imagination combine.
Donna has travelled the UK and Ireland delivering contemplative workshops sharing slow practices of making and printmaking. Teaches workshops out of Union Gallery Grantham , along with running the Teen Print club and Plein air sessions from fields.
