From a young age I was enthralled by the rainbow colour palette of paints, coloured pencils, and tissue paper.
As a student, I learned to mix colour combinations with design through lino and screenprinting, usually looking to nature for my inspiration.
These elements come together in the designs that I enjoy creating in silk to applique onto cushions. I wanted to produce a product that was a practical addition to anyone's home.
New designs are often influenced by the flowers in my own garden or somewhere I have visited.
I am always happy to take commissions to compliment a client's colour scheme or to match in with another detail.
Recently I have revisited fabric collage to produce some landscape pieces. I have also been playing with some silk paint techniques.
