Meet the Artist!
I'm a mixed media artist, mainly focusing on abstract and landscape work, aiming to capture the essence of light. Following my intuition, I let each piece guide me, revealing its unique story.
Art isn't just about what we see; it's about how it makes us feel. I celebrate the profound impact of light on our experiences, from golden sunsets to dancing lights across a night's sky. Nature's ever-changing light ignites my passion. Using various materials like iridescent inks, color-shift mediums, and texture paste allows me to explore and express these moments.
I believe art is a way of telling stories. It also tells a story about me, my thoughts, what I've discovered about myself, and how the light through nature moves and inspires me emotionally.
Now based in Corby, Northamptonshire, I am extremely lucky to have my own small art studio where I can leave my day job at the door, don my painter's hat and apron, and follow my love of creating the story and emotion of light through art.
