Meet the Artist!
I am an equine artist based in Northamptonshire, UK. Oil painting is my passion. Many of my personal works focus on the natural beauty of the horse as well as the role of the horse in past equestrian traditions, in particular the art of side saddle riding. The horse is an ever-growing fascination within my art practice as it possesses many qualities of elegance, majesty, softness, and power.
In 2018 I graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting and Drawing. It was during my second year of the course that I found the art of side saddle, which gave my art a new purpose. Since completing my BA I have graduated with an MA in Art History to further support my art practice. My work continues to be richly influenced by history and encompasses the evolving elegance and etiquette of riding attire, tack and the beauty of the horse.
