Relaxing by the sea

I have used acrylics and mixed media on canvas. This means here, choosing colours, shapes, images, and patterns from magazines, food wrappings tissue papers etc and with acrylics, pastel crayon and glue - sealing in varnish I create an artwork.

About this Collection
I love being by the sea, and enjoy wild swimming both doing it or watching. Here, a calmness by watching from the shore line with a drink is enjoyable with a feeling of reflection that life is to be enjoyed.
Often sketches and photographs will be undertaken for inspiration outdoors and return back to my studio or any place if quiet, indoors.
It can get a bit messy with acrylics, pastels, paper, glue, wood, leaves, shells, metal shapes and cardboard but it’s fun.
