About this Collection
My background is in Fashion & Design, I graduated from University for the Creative Arts (KIDA) in the 1990’s. Having worked in various clothing manufactures for many years which I loved, I became a full time Mum for my three daughters, who have now flown the nest. This has given me the time and opportunity to rediscover my artistic side.
My work is in mostly watercolour and coloured pencils, although I do like to embroider and sew however, painting is my thing.
I do hope you enjoy my work, I am still learning and finding methods and effects that I love. Some of my work can be very impressionistic, I may spend time just exploring and creating feelings of nature. Or other days I feel inspired by a landscape or animals. I particularly love to draw Hares; they are so wild and majestic.
I have lived in the beautiful village of Geddington for over 30 years. My studio is a lovely long attic room, with plenty of light, although my cats always find me!
