About this Collection
Over the last few years I've found myself creating a series of paintings of gardens and trees. This process started during covid when I was able to spend hours drawing and painting our own garden. It was very absorbing and I loved it - playing with blocks of colour, building up layers of detail, moving intuitively day by day and enjoying the challenge of it. Since then I've created more paintings of our garden and also based on other gardens I've seen. When painting other gardens I capture the essence of a garden with a series of photos that I pin on the wall in my studio to inspire the paintings I make.
