Harmony of Light

These images are all long exposure (3-20 minutes) captures of a moving LED light source from a moving camera. Each is on a separate platform which can move independently in two dimensions. The 'tuning' of the machine is important; the two platforms are set to have a simple ratio of their periods, such as 1:1, 2:1, 3:5, 4:7 etc, much like musical notes. I believe this is highly original and different artwork; I have had comments that this goes 'beyond photography'.

I can print these images on heavyweight fine art paper up to 17 inches wide (A2) and frame as required. The detail and vibrancy of the images when viewed full size continues to amaze and delight me. I hope to have the machine on display and operating at the Open Studios Exhibition in Blisworth.
