Semi abstract//impressionist landscapes

Taking constant inspiration from nature especially the sea. I work mainly in acrylics in an attempt to capture the atmosphere of a place and time. I often write in a little notebook how a certain place feels when I visit it. Travelling frequently around the highlands and islands of Scotland it is not difficult to find inspiration.
