Born in Goderich, Ontario, Canada, in March 1943 but spent most of my childhood and adult life in England and my working life in Real Estate and Personal Finance.
I became interested in doing something in my retirement and had always enjoyed art, so I enrolled in Sarah Pendred art classes to learn more about painting in general and for a few years she took me out of my comfort zone to expand my knowledge and taught me how to paint in watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastel.
Influences are obviously for me Canaletto, Constable, Pendred and various professional artists who gave tutorials whilst I was a member of Network Arts. Soon I was presenting my work at various exhibitions around the county of Northampton and sometimes selling paintings that are now in private homes in England, Canada and South Africa.
I do accept commissions, but I specialise in landscapes, seascapes and town/city scenes.
I hope you enjoy my work and if you buy one of my paintings, I hope you will enjoy viewing it in your own home.
