Gill Elsbury-Clark is a contemporary British artist.
Design Foundation Course at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design.
BA (Honours) degree in Scientific Illustration/Graphic Design with Middlesex University.
Freelance illustrator for a range of educational and medical book and magazine publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Pavilion Books, Eaglemoss magazines, plus some promotional work.
Exhibited in Jersey’s Creative Arts Eisteddfod, winning many awards. She won Jersey’s Barreau Art Scholarship at the age of 16.
She experiments with abstract styles in mixed media, mainly concentrating on watercolour and acrylic, with some collage, drawing and textiles. She is currently exploring the theme of grief, and is strongly influenced by the natural world.
She works intuitively with colour, line and texture to create bold, original art for contemporary living spaces.
