Find your creative community with NROS
Artists and makers across Northamptonshire and Rutland are invited to join a growing network where ideas, skills and encouragement are shared - with a limited window to apply for 2027.
Making art can be a solitary activity, but being an artist doesn’t have to be. Northants & Rutland Open Studios (NROS) brings creative people together across both counties, offering a chance to meet, exchange ideas and enjoy being part of a supportive community.
Members bring different experiences, approaches and expertise. Through conversations, shared activities and time spent together, they learn from one another, find inspiration and build connections that help their practice grow.
Katie Boyce, Director of NROS, said:
“There’s so much knowledge and creativity within our membership, and it’s wonderful to see what happens when people come together. Someone might share a technique, help with a practical question or offer the encouragement another artist needs to try something new.
We want joining NROS to feel welcoming and enjoyable - a chance to find people who understand what you do, take an interest in your work and inspire you along the way.”
Whether you’re developing your practice or have been making and exhibiting for years, there’s room to contribute, learn and get involved in a way that suits you.
Membership costs £25 for 12 months from joining. Members can enjoy the year-round community without having to participate in the September Festival.
With applications open only from late October to January, artists and makers who want to be part of NROS in 2027 are encouraged to join now.
