About the Event
Join botanical artist and illustrator, Sophie Smith, for a workshop exploring the basics of botanical illustration. Working ‘in the field’ you will have the opportunity to study wild plants in their natural habitat at Summer Leys nature reserve and record findings in a sketchbook provided using graphite, coloured pencils and ink.
No drawing experience necessary- it’s about using the sketchbook to stop, look and get hands on with nature, whilst also meeting like minded people and enjoying wildlife in our group.
