Robin’s practice explores time and place creating surreal and abstract landscapes that overlap multiple viewpoints. Colours are shifted into vibrant, over-saturated hues, exposing the fallacy of a single, objective view and offering a rich, sublime subjectivity in its place.
Colour and form is influenced by Post-Impressionism, Fauvism and Abstract Expressionism. A natural Biophilic, Robin seeks to re-create the world around us in an imaginative, slightly surreal and serendipitous way that questions the world as we know it.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in photography and is currently a Post-Graduate student (MA Art History).
