My current practice since graduating is driven by a desire to create bodies of work around landscape and the environment. Eschewing a popular approach to landscape I seek out the detail in the land and question how it is viewed and used. My photographic techniques include ICM, multiple exposure, film, cyanotype and digital.
Early work focussed primarily on food reflecting my background within the food industry as a chef, developer and teacher. My work has since expanded and is influenced by Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Fauvism and Abstract Expressionism.
My Photographic success includes 21 images shortlisted since 2014 in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Competition one category win, one third place, one highly commended and three commended images.
