Starling (Sturnus Vulgaris)

Sturnus Vulgaris or common starling, these birds are anything but with their beautiful iridescent plumage and star tipped feathers. I have attempted to capture this in watercolour.

Two of these paintings, Starling l and Starling ll will be exhibited at the 2025 NROS Central Exhibition at Lamport Hall in September. Starling lll is currently available from ARTworks Creative Space in Kettering.
