David Townshend - Intense Aloneness

This set of images explores the concept of ‘intense aloneness’ – expressing how it feels to be alone in a beautiful and dramatic landscape.

The hills, woods, grasslands and watersides of Derwentwater in the autumn provided many stimuli and I was able to create these intriguing images with shapes, colours, patterns and textures that convey a range of moods and emotions.
