Cordell’s portrait painting workshop is an ideal introduction to portrait painting in oil paints. A portrait painting in oils will be produced, with attention to facial proportions and tonal values to create a realistic portrait. Working from a reference photograph and a step by step process, Cordell will guide you through the process involved in painting a portrait. The workshop is perfect for both beginners and painters with some experience.
Cordell is an experienced painter who will provide painting demonstrations during the day and a supporting handout, as part of the workshop, to explain the techniques involved. You will create a portrait painting that you will be able to take away with you at the end of the day.
The price varies depending on whether you are bringing your own materials or whether you wish the tutor to supply all materials. £65 with own materials £75 if materials are supplied.
