Collage and Mixed Media Weekend

Collage and Mixed Media 2-day workshop at Yardley Arts Centre. If you want to learn more about using collage alongside other mixed media in your work then this weekend course will set you on the right track and open up a new creative avenue. We will experiment with a rich variety of materials to make vibrant work exploring surface, form and composition, colour and pattern. We will make collage papers, freely expressing ourselves with mark-making techniques and experimenting with colour, shape and value. Our final piece will be a layered collage piece using our collage papers and other materials. We will experiment with a composition using as our reference either still life objects or working from photographs or other reference materials.
