My artistic journey began later in life when I eventually found the time for my own hobbies and interests. I enrolled onto an oil painting course which gave me the opportunity to study GCSE fine art. This journey then led to five years at the University of Northampton where I graduated with a BA in 2016 and then an MA in 2019. I had the most wonderful time and enjoyed every day.
Abstract - I love working with a freedom of expression between myself and the paints/mixed media that I use to create an art work. This technique allows the materials I am using to give me back an effect and result that I am not totally in control of.
My website Paula-LeBaigue.co.uk offers the opportunity to book one to one or two to one in my studio. Information and photographs for galleries interested in my BA(Hons) work, Forgotten Women, which is based on women that did not receive the credit or accolade they deserved for their achievements. Also my MA Fine Art work that was created to raise awareness of the fact that Coercive Control was deemed a criminal offence in 2015.
