Mick Stump

Mick works from his studio in Langham near Oakham.
He studied Fine Art under the tutorship of Miles Richmond, a close associate of David Bomberg and as a student he won a drawing prize to travel to Florence where he studied the work of the early Italian Renaissance artists that he loves.
These different approaches to drawing have always remained powerful influences in his work.
He has exhibited with the New English Art Club and The Royal Society of British Artists.
He has also had work included in various open exhibitions around the country and regularly exhibits at Stamford Contemporary Arts, Stamford.
