Joanna Fairley

I am primarily a landscape painter working in oils and watercolour. My work is semi abstract and my aim is to create atmosphere in a very loose style. My choice of location ranges from Scotland's majestic scenery to the softer countryside of Rutland. I use brush, palette knife, rags and fingers manipulating, scraping and moulding the paint to give texture and colour layering.

I am a member of the Leicestershire Society of Artists and also the Leicester Sketch Club.
