I'm a self taught artist post leaving school.
Art is something I came back to during my own wedding prep and then again when expecting my first child. Although now a mum to two busy girls, I have not looked back.

I started with wedding fingerprint posters and went on to designing my own, ever growing, animal alaphabet (which is great for baby gifts!).

I have always kept my hand in but during this last decade I have tried to paint the things that bring me joy. Things from my life, the countryside or animals. I have created also things for nursery walls for all to enjoy along with my name art. In my none illustrative works I apparently highly favour interesting light and long for more travels to paint even more interesting light!.

I take commissions for work from everything from pet portrait to murals & nameart to wedding artwork. Whilst still finding a bit of time for creating the things I like .... mainly birds, animals, flowers and landscapes. I favour watercolour on smooth (not) or hot press watercolour paper but also love acrylics.. I enjoy pastels, pencil and resin work too.

I have a varied portfolio and on occasion I use digital amplification to enhance artwork for prints or to make surface pattern designs.
