Bauhaus inspired
Colourful paintings made up of geometric shapes and clean sharp edges
I take my inspiration from the joyful experimentation of the Bauhaus painters, especially Kandinsky and Klee, as well as the geometric compositions of Robert Delaunay. Using bright colours, geometric shapes and clean lines, I paint with the simple intention of bringing a touch of levity into daily life.
The paintings don’t come with any hidden meanings, messages, symbolism, or a story to unravel. They don’t represent anything, they’re simply what they look like—bright and cheerful, something to lift your spirits.
In a world that can feel overwhelmingly heavy and stressful, I want my paintings to be the antidote: a flash of colour, a small, bright moment of relief to be enjoyed at face value. And most importantly: something to make you smile.
