Cubist Animals
Colourful paintings made up of geometric shapes and clean sharp edges
I take my inspiration from the Cubist painters using geometric shapes, fragmented forms, overlapping planes, and bold contrasts of color. Using blocks of colour, sharp lines and sweeping curves, I paint with the simple intention of bringing a touch of levity into daily life.
The paintings don’t come with any hidden meanings, messages, symbolism, or a story to unravel. They don’t represent anything, they’re simply what they look like—bright and cheerful, something to lift your spirits.
In a world that can feel overwhelmingly heavy and stressful, I want my paintings to be the antidote: a flash of colour, a small, bright moment of relief to be enjoyed at face value. And most importantly: something to make you smile.
