Woodland Wonders

A collection of original paintings, prints and drawings centred on single specimen trees, woodland and ancient forests.

The sights, smells and sounds in woodland are magical and these beautiful areas of our countryside are crucial for sustaining precious ecosystems and wildlife. Our ancient forests are a blessing and my travels to The New Forest and the island of Crete, have allowed me to capture the beautiful shapes and forms of beeches, oaks, holly and olives. Locally, I walk Badby Woods and Everdon Stubbs, and I often find inspiration for my art in field margins, spinneys and mature hedgerows around Northamptonshire.
