Chrysalides

Through the forms of chrysalis in stone I want to represent those internal spaces in which everything is possible, the refuge of something changing and beautiful that wants to emerge.

Thinking of Chrysalis ...
What is it in the concept of the chrysalis that attract me that much? It could be because I associate it with my own personal experience, with the internal transformation in which I find myself at the moment.
After some years taking care that my girls lives are full filled and happy, it is time to sleep in my chrysalis in search of a dream of liberation, of new creations.

Many times I think about the shape, the interior and exterior space of the chrysalis; but I also reflect in the dreams that are engendered in those spaces, in all the possibilities of lives that can be generated in them. It is a search inside the chrysalis that takes you to a dreamlike state of expectation and euphoria.
