Power comes from lies. Big lies, when the whole damn world conspires against you. When you make them all agree on what they surely know – its untrue, thats when youve got them by the balls. Our problem isnt whether our desires are satisfied or not. The problem is how we come to know what exactly we desire. Theres nothing spontaneous and natural about our desires. Our desires are artificial - someone teaches us to desire. We may know a lot about art books and whats in those books. We may know everything about Michelangelo – his works and political views, but how many know how it smells in the Sistine Chapel? We may know a lot about war, but how many have actually been to war?
