Abstract Expressionism

This series of works on paper and canvas were created to celebrate the quiet underlying beauty of life.

These paintings are an exploration and enjoyment of the hand drawn curved line and the sweet rhythm of repetition and soft colours. Before creating them I explored compositional ideas in my sketch pad and the paintings I made were those that felt strongest.
