Flower Studies

I am currently exploring flower studies with an emphasis on contrast, dramatic use of colours and chiaroscuro. I am especially influenced by the old Dutch Baroque artist such as Jan Frans van Dael and Jan Brueghel the Elder. I love their use of grandeur, richness, drama, movement, and tension.
