Peak District and Yorkshire

These landscape and seascape paintings have been inspired by my visits to both the Peak District and Yorkshire

I find the dramatic scenery in both Yorkshire and the Peak District very inspiring. For me there is a great joy in painting the vastness of this landscape and find the mood created by the changing weather on this landscape inspiring.

Included in these paintings are also seascape paintings from our many trips to Staithes. The painting 'the catch' is included because although it is more abstract, it was inspired by the Yorkshire fishing boats.
