Description
Learn how to layer colourful merino wool, silk fibres and wool curls to create a wet felted seascape picture in the morning. In the afternoon I will show you how to easily needle felt puffins on to the background. You will learn how to make a swimming or standing puffin and a flying one.
Finished pieces are approximately 25 x 60 cm
All materials will be supplied, feel free to bring a small towel or apron if you would like.
The workshop is 10:30am-3:30 pm and will be held in the studio at the back of the gardens. This is accessible from the carpark. Garden admission is not needed to come into the studio.
There will be a lunch break from 12:30-1:15pm where you may eat in the café onsite or bring your own packed lunch.
This workshop is limited to 6 students, which allows for plenty of space between.
