Description
Location: Workshop Studio at Barnsdale Gardens, The Avenue, Exton, Nr Oakham. Rutland. LE15 8AH
We will be concentrating on two techniques; informal slab construction and carving a clay block to create two small pots to your own design.
There will be a short demo of each technique followed up by guidance and help. Materials are included and both pots will be dried and later fired to stoneware temperatures (suitable for outside use). They will be ready for collection or posted (at additional cost) within 4-6 weeks.
Please note that the pots will not be glazed but can be washed with a brown/black oxide wash to pick out any decorative features. The courses are designed for beginners or those more experienced.
