Description
During this workshop you will be guided through all the techniques to make a silver textured wide ring, earrings or a pendant with a pre-made stone setting.
You will learn how to:
Texture silver sheet with hammers and a rolling mill.
Form sheet using a disk cutter, piercing saw and a selection of pliers.
Use a torch to solder settings and findings to your work.
Set your stones using stone setting tools and a burnisher.
Polish your work.
(Laser cut paper, skeleton leaves and lace can be used to texture the metal so please do feel free to bring your own – but note that they will be crushed in the process)
